“I was so excited to finally try this small coffee roasting business. The fact that they are local and have very high ratings and amazing word of mouth recommendations, my order was definitely overdue. We were forced to search for a healthier, cost effective, and fresher roast. All I can say, is stop throwing your money at these big name coffee companies when all you are getting sent is garbage and slow service. This is not the case with Shermans Valley Coffee. Now, we live relatively close but since I don't drive I opted for the shipping. I ordered Bruce's Espresso Blend on May 31, 2023, this was the day the whole beans were roasted and shipped. We got our order the very next day and it smelled amazing. I couldn't wait to get our first batch brewed. The beans were the freshest that I have ever used and that will keep me ordering more! Not to mention that it brews and tastes amazing! I love that the beans were whole and there were no broken pieces strewn throughout like other companies AND the beans are nice and dry, not oily and very strong. We do pour over and this is the best cup of coffee I have had in years. There literally is NO aftertaste and that is amazing in itself. Also, I don't have to doctor my coffee as much as I had to with the previous brand. There is no bitterness here, so smooth and tasty. “Sherman's Valley Coffee Co is a very small, one man operation. I think that's what makes it so good. Each order is custom roasted when the order is places and ground to order, if one chooses ground coffee rather than whole bean. The coffee is purchased directly from the grower so the farmer gets all of the money and doesn't have to give most of it to some huge middle man. I've been buying all of our coffee there for the last month or so and continue to plan on doing so!”
